Sheila Ahuja KC co-heads A&O Shearman’s Asia-Pacific Arbitration practice and is joint chair of the firm's India Group. One of the foremost arbitration practitioners in the Asia-Pacific region, Sheila was appointed King’s Counsel in March 2025, the only solicitor-advocate among the 105 KC appointments that year.

Sheila advises clients on complex international commercial arbitration and investor-State disputes across the Asia-Pacific region. She has particular expertise in disputes arising from oil & gas, energy and infrastructure projects, joint ventures, distributorship arrangements, and complex financial products.

She also regularly sits as arbitrator, including as presiding arbitrator, and as a Deputy High Court Judge in Hong Kong.

Sheila is the highest ranked female arbitration counsel in Singapore by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2026. She is one of only three individuals ranked Band 1 for Indian Disputes by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2026, and also the sole individual recommended by Chambers Global 2026 for Dispute Resolution in Malaysia.

Choo Wei-Pin is the Chief Corporate Officer at Razer responsible for Global Government Relations, Ethics and Compliance, Legal, Intellectual Property and Blockchain BU. He joined Razer in 2015.

Wei-Pin serves as a director of or advisor to external organisations such as Lucence Health and various Razer subsidiaries as well as on the Razer Investment Committee. During his tenure at Razer, he has led a number of investments including THX Inc., Shield and the businesses now known as Razer Gold and FIUU. He was instrumental in the establishment of zVentures and the listing of Razer on the Hong Kong Exchange in 2017.

Wei-Pin has been recognised by various bodies as a leading legal practitioner. Prior to joining Razer, he was Senior Vice President at Capitaland.

Ajay has cross jurisdictional experience having worked on a wide variety of matters ranging from contracts, regulatory, compliance, employment, litigation, acquisitions & divestitures, corporate-secretarial, to general advisory matters.

Ajay is part of the leadership team in Asia Pacific working on transactional as well as strategic matters including responding to regulatory issues. He is focused on building and strengthening a high-performance team which can be a trusted business enabler. He is involved in regulatory and policy work and engages with a diverse set of stakeholders on such matters.

Ajay has previously been the lead counsel of IBM Middle East & Africa based out of Dubai. He joined IBM in India, which is a microcosm of global IBM, and led the legal team in India/South Asia. He has negotiated large complex deals, was the lead counsel for IBM’s strategic expansion in Africa and has also worked at the IBM development labs.

Prior to joining IBM, Ajay worked with a law firm dealing with matters such as project financing, privatisation, foreign investments, acquisitions and general corporate advisory.

As Counsel, he has argued hundreds of major international commercial, investor-State and inter-state arbitrations, as well as ground-breaking cases in the highest courts of England, Singapore, Hong Kong, Pakistan and the Caribbean.

As Arbitrator, he has extensive experience worldwide in commercial and investor-State disputes. He is Vice-Chairman of the SCCA; Vice President of the SIAC Court of Arbitration; Member of the Governing Board of ICCA; Fellow of the CIArb and Chartered Arbitrator; member of the ICSID Panel; Bencher of Middle Temple in London. George Lim is Chairman of the Singapore International Mediation Centre. He was President of the Law Society of Singapore from 1998 to 1999, and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2010.

George has mediated close to 1,000 disputes, and has extensive experience mediating cross-border disputes in Shanghai, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, the Maldives, South Korea, Australia, Fiji, and Dubai. In particular, he has successfully mediated investor-state disputes as well as claims by or against governments. In 2021, he successfully mediated a US$1B dispute between South Korean conglomerate Posco Energy and FuelCell Energy.

George was Singapore’s mediation consultant to UNCITRAL Working Group II, which led to the adoption of the Singapore Convention on Mediation in 2019. In October 2019, he was appointed to the Roster of Panel Chairs of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) on Dispute Settlement. George also serves on the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes’ panel of conciliators.

Prior to HSF Kramer, Ilona led AI innovation and transformation at Cleary Gottlieb, including oversight of the firm’s in-house AI development team following its acquisition of Springbok.ai. She previously held leadership roles at McKinsey Digital and McKinsey Legal, and earlier served as Senior Counsel at Mastercard and as an associate at Fried Frank.

Bill Marsh is a leading international commercial and investor-state mediator who has been mediating full-time since 1991 – in a wide range of commercial and other disputes involving governments, national and international businesses, and parties from more than 50 countries, covering virtually every area of law and business.

In addition to his commercial mediation practice, Bill mediates highly complex conflicts involving environmental, religious, ethnic, political, and human rights issues. He is also an experienced investor-state mediator, and sits on the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) Chairman’s panel.

Bill has served as an adviser on mediation to many governments and international institutions, and represented the United Kingdom in the United Nations negotiations that produced the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Mediation. He trains and mentors mediators from around the world, and is an Honorary Professor at University College London.

Mark McLaughlin is Assistant Professor of Law at the Yong Pung How School of Law, Singapore Management University, with a joint appointment at the Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy (SIDRA). He has been a trainer for government officials around the world in managing their investment treaty commitments and navigating complex disputes, and coordinates the investment dispute programme of UNCITRAL Academy. In 2026 he was an expert contributor to UNCITRAL Working Group II on Dispute Settlement, the Singapore Cooperation Programme, and is a member of the ISDS Academic Forum. He is co-editor of a forthcoming volume on Global Trends in Mediation, and teaches on Dispute Resolution Advocacy and Foreign Investment Law in Asia.

Frauke Nitschke is a Chief Counsel at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Frauke serves as the team lead for ICSID staff handling proceedings in English. Frauke also serves as Secretary in investor-State proceedings. Frauke further leads ICSID’s investor-State mediation activities, including the drafting of the 2022 ICSID Mediation Rules and amendments to ICSID’s conciliation frameworks. Frauke has conducted investment mediation skills trainings for practitioners, mediators and government officials. Frauke chaired ICSID’s Investment Mediation Insights webinar series. Prior to joining ICSID, Frauke served in the World Bank’s Legal Vice Presidency and the Inspection Panel. Frauke is fellow of the Weinstein JAMS International Fellowship Program and an accredited mediator. She is admitted to the D.C. and New York State Bars and holds a law degree from the Freie Universität Berlin, an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center, and a master’s degree in psychology from the FernUniversität Hagen.

Siraj Omar SC is a Senior Counsel of the Supreme Court of Singapore, having been appointed in 2019. He has almost 30 years of experience litigating complex, high-value commercial disputes in the trial and appellate courts of Singapore as well as in international arbitrations.

Siraj sits on the Board Executive Committee of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and also serves as a civilian panel member on the Military Court of Appeal, Deputy Commissioner of the Government Procurement Adjudication Tribunal and as Chief Examiner for the Dispute Resolution module of the Singapore Bar Examination administered by the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE).

Jadranka Osrečak holds the position of assistant professor. She completed postgraduate studies (Master of Laws) in international comparative commercial arbitration, international investment arbitration and international energy arbitration with distinction at Queen Mary, University of London. She also finished additional education at Queen Mary in the writing of arbitral awards. She earned her doctorate, magna cum laude, from the doctoral program in commercial and company law at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. Her dissertation paper’s topic focused on third-party funding in international commercial and investment arbitration. She is listed as an arbitrator to the Permanent Court of Arbitration of the Croatian Chamber of Economy. Sun Huawei specialises in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. Over her twenty years of practice, she has represented clients in international commercial and investment treaty cases adjudicated under major arbitration rules around the world. Huawei has particular experience of complex and parallel proceedings involving different jurisdictions. She has expertise in public international law and is assisting China in defending treaty claims brought by foreign investors.

Huawei is HKIAC’s Vice-Chair, a member of the HKIAC Proceedings Committee, a former member of the HKIAC Appointments Committee and an officer at the IBA Arbitration Committee. Huawei is listed on the Panel of Arbitrators of HKIAC, CIETAC, CMAC and SCIA. She is also a designated member of the General Panel of Mediators of the International Organisation for Mediation.

Mr Edwin Tong SC was appointed Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs in May 2025. Prior to this, he served as Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Second Minister for Law from 2020 to 2025, and as Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Health from 2018 to 2020.

As Minister for Law, Mr Tong drives policies and initiatives to uphold the rule of law, strengthen Singapore’s legal framework, advance access to justice, and develop the legal industry.

Before entering public service, Mr Tong was Head of the Restructuring and Corporate Insolvency Department, Co-Head of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department, and member of the Executive Committee at Allen & Gledhill LLP. Widely acknowledged to be a leading lawyer of the Singapore Bar, he was appointed Senior Counsel in 2015.

Mr Tong read law at the National University of Singapore.

Byung-Chol (B.C.) Yoon is a senior partner at Kim & Chang’s International Arbitration Practice and is widely regarded as a foundational authority on disputes in the Asia-Pacific region. With a distinguished career spanning 35 years, he has served as counsel in over 200 complex commercial and investment treaty cases.

His expertise covers a vast range of sectors, from energy, infrastructure, and technology to high-stakes M&A projects. Beyond his work as counsel, B.C. serves as an arbitrator and has contributed to the governance of several leading institutions. He has previously served on the boards or courts of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB), is currently an inaugural Court Member of the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre, or arbitrateAD. Professor Mimi Zou is a Barrister on Tenth Floor Chambers (Wentworth/Selborne) in Sydney, with a broad commercial, tax and regulatory practice. She is also a globally renowned scholar in AI and law and is Head of School of Private and Commercial Law at UNSW.

Mimi was previously Chair/Professor in Commercial Law at Exeter (UK) and inaugural Fellow in Chinese Law at Oxford, where she founded the Deep Tech Dispute Resolution Lab. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and recipient of the 2025 Women in Law Trailblazer Award.

Mimi holds a DPhil and BCL from Oxford. She has been admitted as a solicitor in NSW (Australia) and called to the Bar in England and Wales, with experience advising on cross-border transactions and disputes across Asia and Europe.
