Dr Matthew Secomb is a partner in White & Case’s International Arbitration Group in Singapore, and heads the firm’s arbitration practice in the Asia-Pacific. She leads the ICDR’s strategic development and operations across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania, overseeing staff and services in the region, including the AAA-ICDR Asia Case Management Centre in Singapore. A commercial disputes lawyer by background, Thara is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She has acted in complex, high-value disputes before all levels of the Singapore courts and in international arbitrations and mediations under major institutional rules. Thara holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol and an LLM from University College London.
