Anisha SUD

Partner, International Disputes Practice Group, King & Spalding


Anisha Sud is a partner in King & Spalding’s International Disputes practice, based in Singapore. Focusing on the energy sector, Anisha represents clients in high-stakes international commercial and investment disputes involving long-term foreign investments, multi-party joint ventures, and government entities. Several of her commercial and investor-State arbitrations exceed USD 1 billion in dispute and form landmark international arbitration cases. Partner, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer LLP


Gitta Satryani is a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and the Head of Disputes for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. She specialises in complex cross-border disputes with particular expertise in international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration, and public international law. Gitta advises commercial entities, states and SOEs on a broad range of issues relating to cross-border projects including dispute avoidance strategies and investment structuring. Louie LLAMZON

Louie Llamzon is a partner in King & Spalding’s International Arbitration group. Dr. Llamzon represents private and sovereign clients in commercial, investment, and inter-State disputes. He advocates before tribunals seated throughout the world, involving energy, infrastructure, financial, manufacturing, mining, and construction disputes. He also acts as arbitrator. Louie was also a Senior Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Hague.

Dr Matthew SECOMB

Partner, White & Case


Dr Matthew Secomb is a partner in White & Case’s International Arbitration Group in Singapore, and heads the firm’s arbitration practice in the Asia-Pacific. Dr Secomb specializes in international commercial arbitration with a focus on energy and construction disputes. He has significant experience representing and advising clients on renewables and energy transitions disputes. He has been involved in arbitrations under most of the major institutional rules as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. In addition to his counsel work, Dr Secomb frequently sits as arbitrator under major institutional rules.

Dr Secomb is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore, where he teaches an annual course on Energy Arbitration.

Phatsawat Siwawej is a partner in the litigation and arbitration group at Weerawong C&P, a leading independent law firm in Thailand. Phatsawat earned an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Thara GOPALAN

Vice President, International Centre for Dispute Resolution


Thara is Vice President at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the international division of the American Arbitration Association, a not-for-profit and the world’s largest provider of ADR services. She leads the ICDR’s strategic development and operations across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania, overseeing staff and services in the region, including the AAA-ICDR Asia Case Management Centre in Singapore. A commercial disputes lawyer by background, Thara is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She has acted in complex, high-value disputes before all levels of the Singapore courts and in international arbitrations and mediations under major institutional rules. Thara holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol and an LLM from University College London.
